Governments
As thought leaders and advisors, the Roys engage with governments to offer wide-ranging sustainability policy recommendations.
They have advised and offered help to governments for the inclusion of the Global Goals in children’s education. In the UK they provided key recommendations to the UK Department for Education, UK (DfE) on the new Sustainability and Climate Change education strategy. These recommendations were later integrated in the final policy, in 2022, and were rolled out to over 16 million children in the UK equipping them with sustainability literacy.
They have also provided recommendations on climate change and sustainability education policies to over 20 nations and authorities.
Businesses
As entrepreneurs and investors themselves, the Roys understand the challenges businesses face in trying to evolve as sustainable enterprises.
Through their engagements with SMEs as well as big corporations such as BT, Merck, Smurfit Kappa, Capgemini and Amazon, to name a few, the Roys offer businesses a granular view of the rapidly changing consumer motivations and sustainability aspirations. Vitally, their role in offering personal and professional insights to the employees of businesses they engage with, both as professionals as well as a family championing sustainability, is not only motivational but adds immense value to employee well being, boost employee morale, creativity and the overall efficiency.

Civil society
Their engagements with the civil society range from educational initiatives to ones aimed at behavior change and mass mobilisation of the wider population to evolve sustainably.
They regularly engage with leaders from civil society organisations, their donors, sponsors and other supporters. They also offer insights and advise to such organisations on relevant organisational, operational and strategic aspects.
They have harnessed the power of films to educate and inspire the world to act sustainably. The Roys founded the world’s biggest sustainability film festival – Big Syn International Film Festival, supported by OSCAR, BAFTA and EMMY award-winners and global leaders from business, sustainability and policy. The festival screens award-winning films for free to a worldwide audience as well as on London’s iconic Piccadilly Lights, Europe’s biggest screen.
To help the UK population proactively avoid cancer, the Roys have devised a behavioral change program- “Stop and C” working in collaboration with clinicians, behavioral scientists and communication experts.
To mobilise the global population to combat microplastic pollution, the Roys started an SDGs mega-initiative, Microplastic free 2030- a program aimed at 1 billion children and their families, across the planet.
